Addictions and compulsive behaviors which can feel overwhelming to anyone caught up in those cycles. Both Mavis and Christian have extensive experience of being of service to people suffering from a wide variety of these behaviors. They are familiar with traditional approaches to recovery, as well as the extraordinary hope offered by the inside/out understanding.

In this series, they will focus on any issue that the group raises, from drug abuse to compulsive gambling to craving attention and everything in between. The inside-out understanding demonstrates that each of us already has the solutions we seek within, and points out how to access those solutions. This series will explore how an addiction crisis can be the thing we need to realign our lives with the spiritual principles that are available to sustain us.

Christian has been in recovery from alcoholism for over 35 years. She has co-authored the book:Addiction: One Cause, One Solution, which will be referred to in the series. If you haven't already read it, it might be useful to do so before the class begins.
We are both passionate about sharing this understanding with as many people as possible and supporting others to do that too.
